GI Reporting Tool installed at two hospitals and orders received for another four

During July 2007 Unisoft was installed at a further two hospitals.

At Stepping Hill Hospital they have an eight concurrent user GI Reporting Tool, with four Image Capture kits and an ODBC PAS interface. They also have Unisoft's Export to EPR routine which, in this case, outputs the reports as PDFs without any intervention by the user. The PDFs go to a particular location on a server, before being automatically imported into the EPR.

Gartnavel Hospital is the first of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde sites to go live and to date over 20 endoscopists in GI and bronchoscopy have been trained.

During July orders were also received for:

  • Warrington and Halton General Hospitals who are wanting the GI and Cystoscopy Reporting Tools and a PAS interface
  • Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley who want the GI Reporting Tool, Image Capture and an interface to their Capula Elan PAS.  Installation is planned for early September
  • Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary who will be having the full range of Unisoft's Endoscopy Reporting Tools plus five Image Capture kits. Dumfries becomes the tenth Health Board area in Scotland to select Unisoft for Endoscopy Reporting.
