Unisoft installed at five more hospitals, which takes us to 120 hospitals with the GRS-compliant GI Reporting Tool

During September 2007 Unisoft was installed at a further five hospitals.

At Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, a 10 concurrent user version of our GI Reporting Tool was installed and training given, together with 3 Image Capture kits and an HL7 interface for collecting demographic data from PAS.  This compliments our Lung Cancer Management System which was installed way back in 1997 !

At Worcester Acute Hospitals they already had our GI Reporting Tool at Kidderminster General Hospital, which was installed in January 1998.  In September this was rolled out across the remaining two hospitals in the Trust - Worcester Royal Infirmary and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch - and sharing the same database.  These installations replaced EndoScribe which is no longer GRS-compliant.

Then at North Devon District General Hospital, we installed and gave training for all three Endoscopy Reporting Tools, also to replace their copy of EndoScribe.

Finally at Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre we installed a SQL Server version of our GI Reporting Tool, together with the Tracker Scope interface and an HL7 link for pulling demographic data from PAS.  The training for this installation will be carried out in November.
