Last Major Health Board in Scotland – NHS Lothian - orders Unisoft

 

Unisoft’s dominance of the market in Scotland has resulted in the last major Health Board area, NHS Lothian, selecting Unisoft to provide an Endoscopy Reporting solution for the six endoscopy units in the area. 

Unisoft’s GI and Bronchoscopy Reporting Tools, together with 14 DigImAK Image Capture kits, will be installed at the following units:-

  • Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
  • Western General Hospital, Edinburgh
  • St John’s Hospital at Howden, Livingston
  • Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh
  • Leith Community Treatment Centre, Edinburgh
  • Roodlands Hospital, Haddington

Unisoft will replace the last EndoScribe installation in Scotland at St John’s Hospital and the in-house DERIC system at the Royal Infirmary.   It is anticipated installation will commence in February 2008.

The project is being led by Dr Ian Penman, Lead Clinician for Endoscopy, Gastroenterology and GRS in Lothian.
