The GI software for Colchester General Hospital was ordered and installed within 12 days during February. This involved the close cooperation between Unisoft and Mark Large, Colchester's Associate Director of IT.
The order arrived on the 6th February and the software was dispatched on the 13th. Installation was booked for 18th and the training continued for the rest of the week, shared between Chris and Stuart Blyth from Synectics. This not only illustrates the speed with which Unisoft can respond to requests, but as the IT is handled by Essex Shared Services Agency it also shows how responsive this organisation can be.
Stuart Blyth also handled the installation of the GI Reporting Tool and Image Capture kits at Warrington General Hospital and Halton District General. The training will be carried out in March after the BSG.
Chris Blyth handled the installation of the GI Reporting Tool at the Portland Hospital - the last of the six in the HCA Group.
We received orders from the Wythenshawe Hospital and Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton.
The Wythenshawe have opted for a four concurrent user version of the GI Reporting Tool with two Image Capture kits and an ODBC interface for pulling from PAS. Queen Mary's Hospital have gone for all three of Unisoft's Endoscopy Reporting Tools, together with the Tracker Scope interface, two Image Capture Kits and an HL7 interface to their Cerner PAS.
