Dawn Rathbone is appointed Unisoft’s Endoscopy Services Manager

Unisoft is pleased to announce the appointment of Dawn Rathbone as our Endoscopy Services Manager, starting on 29th September 2008.

Dawn comes to Unisoft with an excellent pedigree.  Most recently she was Endoscopy Unit Manager at Queen's Hospital, Burton in Trent.  Then for 6 years prior to that she was Scoping Suite Manager at Good Hope Hospital. That Trust then merged with Heart of England Foundation Trust where she took on the role for a further 12 months as Service and Bowel Cancer Screening Manager for Birmingham Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals as well as Good Hope.

During that time she took full responsibility for the smooth running and development of all the endoscopy units across the 3 sites.  She also assisted in achieving JAG accreditation at Good Hope Hospital and winning the bowel screening bid for the 3 hospitals to become screening centres.

Dawn’s main role in Unisoft will be to look after the 50 hospitals currently using its Endoscopy Reporting Tools in the North West region.

With pre-sales activities, including specifying the requirements, endoscopy managers and clinicians will be able to call on Dawn’s extensive experience to ensure that the operational issues, and not just IM&T requirements, are given the importance they deserve.

After the sale, Dawn will manage the Unisoft training plus attend Endoscopy User Group meetings where, again, her unique insight will add value to Unisoft’s services.  And with this experience she will also be able to advise Unisoft’s programmers on modifications and enhancements to its products, as part of its on-going process of software development.

We know Dawn is going to enjoy this role immensely.
