Colorectal Screening Programme

There are going to be changes to the GI Auditor's Kit and to the GI Reporting Tool to support the statistics required for the Colorectal Screening Programme. These changes will be available by 4th November 2005, in time for the 15th November deadline.

The enhancements will include:

In the GI Reporting Tool, under Reports / List analysis, the summary page will breakdown the count of procedures into Diagnostic and Therapeutic.

In the GI Auditor's Kit, report 3C1010 Where the caecum/ileum wasn't reached and why, there will be

  • the addition of percentages
  • peri-operative complications can optionally be included
  • use of reversal agents (if appropriate)

And in report 3C1020 Analysis of polyps/polypectomies there will be a count of those procedure where no polyps/cancer was found.

To ensure you receive this upgrade please e-mail Steve Rainey with Colorectal Screening in the subject. You do not need to put anything in the body text, but you can ask a question if needed. The GI Auditor's Kit upgrade will only work with Access 2000 / 2003 / XP. It will not work with Access 97.
