NHS Orkney is the latest Health Board to purchase the Unisoft GI Reporting Tool and associated
products.

In addition implementations are planned in the Lorn & Islands DGH, Oban and Uist & Barra Hospital,
Benbecula.

This will leave Borders General Hospital, Melrose and Gilbert Bain Hospital, Lerwick as the only hospitals in Scotland, carrying out GI Endoscopy, not using the Unisoft Reporting Tool.

SCI Scottish Care Information

The work to complete the web services interface to SCI was completed in September 2007 and Crosshouse Hospital, Dumfries & Galloway, Golden Jubilee National Hospital and Western Isles are all now using SCI Store for demographics data.

Exporting Reports to SCI Store has
now been successfully tested for
Version 3 and 4 and David Simpson
will be in contact with sites once our
roll-out plan has been completed.

Bowel Screening Programme

Work on our software to capture the minimum dataset for the Bowel Screening Programme is well advanced and David Simpson is in contact with he LIVE screening Health Boards and those due to go live in 2008.

Cystoscopy Reporting Tool

Our Cystoscopy Reporting Tool is now live in Forth Valley and Dumfries with further site and possibly pilot installations expected in the next few months.

The module uses the existing PAS or SCI Interface for patient demographic data and where procedures are carried out in the Endoscopy Rooms the module will also share the DigImAK image capture facility.
