Unisoft’s domination of the Endoscopy Reporting System market in Scotland is almost complete with
the decision in December 2007 for Lothian to join the Scottish User Group.
The complete list of Health Boards is now-

Ayrshire and Arran
Dumfries & Galloway
Fife
Forth Valley
Grampian
Greater Glasgow & Clyde (both the City and Clyde divisions)
Highland
Lanarkshire
Lothian
Tayside
National Waiting Times Centre - Golden Jubilee National Hospital.

This only leaves Borders and the three Island Boards without an Endoscopy System and hopefully progress will be made in
these areas shortly.

SCI Scottish Care Information

The work to complete the web services interface to SCI was completed in September 2007 and Dumfries & Galloway became the first site to implement the SCI Store Interface for demographic data when they went live in October 07.

We anticipate most sites who presently
use screen scrape or similar technology
to pull date from their COMPAS Pas to
move over to this interface during the
next 12 months.

Work is almost complete and testing will
begin in February to provide Unisoft
Endoscopy Reports within SCI Store.

Cystoscopy Reporting Tool

Our Cystoscopy Reporting Tool is now live in Forth Valley and Dumfries with further site and possibly pilot installations expected in the next few months.

The module uses the existing PAS or SCI Interface for patient demographic data and where procedures are carried out in the Endoscopy Rooms the module will also share the DigImAK image capture facility.
