The Lung Cancer Management System has a dedicated button for recording the nationally required Lung Cancer Waiting Time (CWT) Data which can then be uploaded into the NHS Information Authority's Open Exeter database.

When clicked, this button automatically populates the CWT fields with the data already recorded in the Lung Cancer Management System proper. Often all that needs to be added are the Organisation Codes for the various referring source and treatment centre.

That patient's CWT is then automatically flagged “ready for export”.

The Unisoft CWT export routine then creates the CSV file of waiting time data, ready to be uploaded into Open Exeter.
