LCMS incorporates the Bronchoscopy Reporting Tool and is currently in use in more than a quarter of all UK hospitals (and a third of the English hospitals) with departments of thoracic medicine.

LCMS covers the complete patient journey from inward referral through the diagnostic procedures, diagnosis and staging, and discussion at MDT to onward referral for treatment. Produces a Lung Management Report detailing the data recorded so far.

It also captures the nationally required NHSIA's Lung Cancer Waiting Times data and includes a routine for automatically uploading the data into the NHSIA's Open Exeter system.
