With the Bronchoscopy Reporting Tool, you can record pathologies encountered and specimens taken by using the mouse to mark “sites” on a diagram of the bronchial tree. This produces a top quality Bronchoscopy Report and laboratory request forms, within the field of Thoracic medicine and Bronchoscopy reporting. The Bronchoscopy Reporting Tool has three main screens: Pathology for recording the clinical indications, Drugs for the pre- and peri-operative medication and Abnormalities. In the latter you can use the mouse to mark sites where pathology was encountered and specimens were taken. Produces a high quality bronchoscopy report with the annotated diagram plus laboratory request forms to accompany the specimens taken.

The Magic Audit Button is included with Lung Cancer Management System and produces sophisticated analyses of the management, diagnosis and treatment of patients with suspected/confirmed lung cancer, all at the click of a button. Sophisticated reports are produced with a couple couple of clicks of the mouse covering the main facets of the management of patients passing through the department. These include the numbers of diagnostic procedures performed, inward referral patterns, timespan analyses of the patients' journeys through strategic points along the way, diagnoses analyses and age/gender distribution for cell types. Each report includes an Exception report listing the patients whose data appeared in the columns headed Missing or invalid dates. You can also produce a list of, and count of, patients for whom an event - e.g. bronchoscopy, scan, diagnosis, discussion at MDT, (type of) treatment started - occurred within a given range of dates.

Our PAS/EPR interfaces can download patient demographic data from the hospital's main Patient Administration System (PAS). Unisoft offers five techniques: 
The best and fastest way to download data is by using an Open Database Connection (ODBC). The user just types in the patient's hospital number, or scans the patient's bar code, and the patient's details are downloaded in a fraction of a second. 

Just as fast as ODBC is TCP/IP, this technique allows low-level calls usually to proprietary Interface Engines.

HL7 Messaging is an industry standard messaging system that allows request for data to be transferred between disparate systems that are not ODBC-compliant. 
Several Patient Administration System have report generators. These can be used to create plain text files containing demographic data in a regular layout. The Unisoft applications can be configured to pick up data from these files. This is called Flat File Transfer

A less sophisticated approach for PAS systems that cannot support any of the above techniques is called Screen Scrape. It requires a terminal emulator that can continuously capture data appearing in the terminal window and save it to a file on the hard disk

Transcribe is a free utility that transfers data from Endoscribe™ version 2 into Unisoft's GI Reporting Tool. It imports Endoscribe reports into the GI Reporting Tool's own database, and is usually carried out after the Unisoft "go live" date.
